Pythagorean Theorem Murder Mystery 8.G.6 Explain a proof of the Pythagorean Theorem and its converse.
8.G.7 Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to determine unknown side lengths in right triangles in real-world and mathematical problems in two and three dimensions.
1!1) Rewrite the standard in your own words. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
The standard is 8.g.6, Explain a proof of the Pythagorean theorem and it´s converse. As well as 8.G.7, Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to find out the unknown side lengths in right triangles in real world and mathematical problems in two and three dimensions. Basically, we had to use the Pythagorean Theorem formula to find out the side lengths of a right triangle. This assignment relates to the standard because I had to find out the murder of a person based on the information I was given. I had to use the Pythagorean Theorem method to find out the exact place where the subject was and how close the person was to the victim.
2) What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
So first of all, I read the information given to me about the different subjects, I looked at the all the facts given about the chosen suspects and how close they were to the victim. Afterwards, I used the Pythagorean Theorem method to plug in the information given to me
