The standard is 7.G.B.4
Know the formulas for the area and circumference of a circle and use them to solve problems; give an informal derivation of the relationship between the circumference and area of a circle. This assignment relates to standard because the whole project was about finding the circumference of a pizza(circle) and comparing it to the other pizzas. We had to know the formulas of a circle really well in order to get it right. We also had to find the relationship between the area and the circumference of a circle.
2. What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
The steps I took to complete and do well on this assignment was review my notes in my math notebook. I also took additional steps to make sure I get a perfect score by going on study island and reading the lessons section. I also went on Google how to find a circumference of a circle. First, I filled out the worksheet and got all the materials I needed. For example, markers, colored pencils, crayons, poster board, scissors, glue, and colored paper. After I gathered, I assembled!!

This assignment shows that I understand how to find the pi of pizzas and I know how to compare measurements. It also shows that I understand the topic clearly and my creative skills. Drawing it by hand allowed me to show that I can actually draw. It also shows that I spent a lot of time and effort on it because I did it by hand.
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by …
I could have improved on this assignment by printing out pictures from a computer rather than drawing it by hand. I also could have typed my answers for a more slick look on my poster. I also could have added more décor on the sides of the poster to make it stand out. Another thing I could have done is not procrastinating and doing it on the first day I got the assignment.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will apply what I learned later in life because I'll need to know how to find pi and how to find out measurements. I will also apply this in my later schools years by applying what u know in 8th grade and on. It will be very useful to know the math in my high school and college. It will also be useful because of my career choice like architecture. I'll need to know math.
