Translate and calculate the quotients of fractions, and solve word problems involving division of fractions by using visual models to represent problems. This assignment relates to the standard because we had to create a poster project representing GEMS. (Grouping, Exponents, Multiplication/division, and Subtraction/addition).
2. What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
First, I thought about what GEMS would stand for in different words other than grouping, exponents, multiplication, and division. I thought about those letters and wanted to make them stand for : Great Educational Moments for Students. I could remember GEMS by making it stand for different words to make it easier for me. After I thought about it, I drew it on piece of paper and added color and I also drew a diamond.

This assignment shows that I have a good understanding of the material and that I have good planning skills.

I could have have improved my work on this assignment by adding more detail and adding more colors and pictures.

I will apply my skills for my future world for when I am an adult and I when I need to solve problems. I will use these skills when I become an engineer wich is my vision for the future.
