The hunter-gatherers had to use reed and mud to build their homes because they didn't have the advanced technology we have nowadays. Hunter- gatherers were nomadic which means they moved from place to place constantly. They didn't stay in one place for too long because they followed the animals needed to hunt. One thing that was hard for the hunter-gatherers was adapting to their surroundings because they moved from one place to another constantly and had to adapt to many different surroundings.
men- the hunters

The hunter-gatherers were people who hunted animals and gathered plants for food. The men usually hunted the animals and the women usually gathered the plants with the help of her children. The men usually hunted because they were much stronger and they had better skills of hunting. The animals that the men hunt are very useful because they could make clothes out of the fur and also eat the meat. The hunters used different strategies to hunt down the animals. Many sneaked upon their prey and attacked while others simply used their wisdom to set up traps to catch the animal(s).
Women- usually gatherers

In early Mesopotamia, women usually gathered plants and fruit. The women gathered the plants with the help of her children. The gatherers walked near plants, trees, and shrubbery to get the plants the family needed to eat. It was good for the family to eat the plants and fruits that the gatherers picked because it would not be very healthy to constantly eat meat. I think the women were gatherers because they had a better sense of which plants were good to eat.
Tools used

Tools were very useful for the hunter-gatherers because the tools allowed them to many things and it made their lives more easier. Hunter gatherers use tools to hunt down animals. The men use bows and arrows and also spears to hunt down the animals. The tools were usually made out of natural material found everywhere like stones and sticks and rocks. More examples of tools are chisels, hammers, and plows.
FIRE

Fire was used by hunter-gatherers to keep warm from the cold because at that time there were no heaters The hunter gatherers made fire by rubbing rocks together to create sparks in order to build a full fire. They might have used fire to cook meat because they didn't have a stove. They used fire to scare away animals or insects because they didn't have bug spray or bug repellent at that time too.
